Filming conditions

Access times to film or photograph

The Museum is open to the public seven days a week and generally we only permit filming and photography Monday to Friday after 18:00.

The Depot is a working depot and therefore not always available. Generally we do not offer weekend filming or photography.

Notice period

We require a minimum of six weeks’ notice to set up an average-sized filming or photography facility. Sometimes this can be turned around faster, depending on the nature of the request.

Filming at short notice

Filming and photography requested with less than six weeks’ notice may not be accepted and increased hire costs may apply.

Your script/storyboard

You will need to have your script or layout approved by London Transport Museum ahead of filming / photography.

Scripts / storyboards will generally not be considered if they breach or contradict TfL byelaws or marketing campaigns, or contain any of our filming restrictions.
