The / buses formed one of the largest standardized fleets ever built and were the mainstay of / London's bus service in the 1950s and early 1960s. They take their final bow on Route 62 / on 7 April. / Throughout the world, the RT bus was a symbol of London and all that was best in British bus design. / Watch for the farewell cavalcade of RT buses over Route 62 in the late afternoon on Saturday, / April 7.
