    Text
Rhubarb and Roses, sweet peas and prima donnas, mingle in glorious confusion at Covent Garden. At six in the morning this great market is a dazzling sight. In the quiet of evening, fashionable shoes pick their way through vegetable remnants towards Bellini, Verdi or Mozart. At the western end stands St. Paul's Church, Inigo Jones's 'handsomest barn in England'; pillared, imposing, and confusingly back-to-front. Underground to Covent Garden
