Description
District Railway station gardens competition, 1923. The judges, accompanied by Inspector Reynolds, on the eastbound platform at Acton Town Underground station. The garden opposite the platform, with the station name picked out in flowers, won a third prize. Note poster site behind the garden, and train indicator situated beneath the platform canopy.
