Description | Three-quarter side view of ex Metropolitan Railway 1921-electric locomotive no 2 'Thomas Lord', in LT livery, at Neasden depot. This engine was previously named 'Oliver Cromwell', but when the names were restored after Second World War, the name 'Thomas Lord' and the plaque with crossed cricket bats, seen on the side of the locomotive, were used instead. The locomotive number appears on both the side of the engine, and the front. The brake pipes and screw coupling can also be seen. |
