View of Station Master Barker's trackside garden at Hammersmith Underground station (now Hammersmith & City line), which was awarded a first prize in the Metropolitan line section, and an additional prize as best garden overall. Mr Barker can be seen shaking hands with the driver of an O-stock train which is standing in the station platform. Hammersmith depot is visible, background right. |
