Description | The Westinghouse Rapid Printer was part of the first generation of automatic fare collection machines. It printed tickets and encoded them magnetically for use with the automatic barriers. Machine worked by printing tickets and encoding them magnetically for use on the automatic barriers. Known as 'the cash register' when installed, and initially only used for the Victoria line. |
