Our beloved Christmas Lights and Sights vintage bus tours are returning this festive season for the first time since 2019!

On 10-11 and 17-18 December 2022, an iconic red Routemaster bus will be taking to the glittering streets of London to delight passengers with a magical journey through the West End’s breathtaking Christmas light displays and best-illuminated landmarks.

Passengers will be greeted by a costumed 1940s ‘Clippie’ (aka bus conductor) to a cheerful soundtrack of nostaligic festive hits.

One of the city’s most beloved festive experiences - City Matters

Starting at London Transport Museum, in the heart of Covent Garden, the Routemaster bus will wind its leisurely way through Embankment, Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, New Bond Street, Shaftesbury Avenue and the Strand.

After the tours, passengers are invited to visit the Museum Shop, where they can enjoy a 10% discount. From exclusive Christmas knitwear and charming transport decorations to our best-selling Moquette Socks in a Box, there are gifts and stocking fillers to please everyone!

Unsurprisingly, tickets for this enchanting adventure are selling fast, however, there is still time to snap up seats on the Routemaster’s cosy Lower Deck.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience London’s spectacular twinkling Christmas lights from a different perspective – The perfect activity to ignite your festive spirit!
