Description | Military Medal awarded to Private James (Jim) Woodards of the Army Service Corps (ASC). The Military Medal was inaugurated on 25 March 1916 by King George V and 115,600 of them were issued during WW1. Woodards joined the ASC during the war (probably in early 1915) and served in the 319th Motor Transport Company. He drove lorries in France. |
