Description | This poster, published by the Underground Electric Railways Company of London, promotes the tram services to Finchley and Cricklewood as well as the Underground services to and from central London. The design illustrates the route of both the Hampstead Railway and the tram service, operated by the Metropolitan Electric Tramways (M.E.T.). When the M.E.T. line from North Finchley reached Golders Green, the Underground arranged dual promotion with the Hampstead Tube service, doubling the number of peak-time trains to provide a train every three minutes. |
