Description
View showing traffic in the Strand area as seen from the top deck of a bus. The view looks back along the street towards the City. The upper deck of an S-type, double-deck, open-top bus, route number 15A, destination board Ladbroke Grove, appears in the extreme foreground centre. The bus conductor, gripping the hand rail at the front of the top deck, stares directly at the camera. Two more S-type buses stand midground left and right, on route numbers 13A to Golders Green ('to & from Selfridges') and 16A to Kensal Rise respectively. A NS-type bus with a covered top is partly visible background left. Various other buses and automobiles occupy the background and foreground area
