Description | Three-quarter front view of double deck horse tram, pulled by two horses, in traffic in the Old Kent Road, on the Greenwich to Blackfriars route, circa 1890. The road is crowded with a variety of other horse drawn vehicles, mainly carts of various sizes; the pavements, lined with shops on the left hand side and three storey residences on the right, are busy with pedestrians.
