Description | A knifeboard double-deck horse tram no. 244 operating on the Aldersgate Street to Clapton route, with driver, conductor and passengers and drawn by two bay horses. The conductor stands in the road leaning against the tram, and the driver is seen at the front. Passengers are on both the lower and upper decks. A panel on the side of the vehicle states that it travels via Hackney Road, and the vehicle also displays the number 1385. |
