Description | Seven Sisters Road at Finsbury Park, with bus and tram traffic and large numbers of pedestrians, on pavements and in road boarding and alighting from vehicles. This is the same stretch of Seven Sisters Road, by the Finsbury Park Tavern as seen in other images in this series (U6531-U6548), but seen from other side of street; pub is on extreme right here, and only partially visible. Three NS-Type buses have stopped at the bus stop, with another travelling in the opposite direction, whilst part of a stationary tram can be seen on the extreme left. On the pavement is a large Tram Stop sign, displaying a number of routes and destinations in North London. The front bus is headed for Southgate, on route 29. The street is lined with shops, names blurred. |
