Description | View of an advertising board at King William Street Underground station, C&SLR (opened 18 December 1890, closed 24 February 1900). The board displays two rows of posters, with various typefaces, dating from about 1895, advertising the services of Douglas Young, auctioneer and surveyor. Some square ceramic tiles, with a decorative band at waist height, are visible extreme left. See also U6866 - U6869. |
