Description	Inauguration of first LCC electric tramway from Westminster to Kennington /Tooting on 15 May 1903. View of the Prince and Princess of Wales (later King George V and Queen Mary) alighting from the royal tram, Class A (no 86) at the end of the inaugural run. The tram is decorated with palm leaves and garlands, and the Prince of Wales feathers are painted on the side. The Prince's two sons, Edward and George, stand on the top deck dressed in sailor suits. A large crowd has gathered to watch the event
