Description
Traffic scene in the Strand, at the junction with Lancaster Place (to right). A policeman on point duty waves across a bicycle-delivery van and cyclist turning out of Lancaster Place; two LGOC buses, an unidentified S-type on route 6A to Kensal Rise station, and a NS-type, Reg no XP4152 (NS804) bound for Shepherds Bush on route 11, wait to continue their journeys. The Gaiety Theatre stands midground left; the tower and spire of St Mary-le-Strand church can be seen behind the buses
