    Charles J Lee, worked for the LGOC at Chelverton Road bus garage, Putney high street. c1910

    During the First World War he served in the Royal Naval Division as a bus driver at the 'Front line'. He also worked as an Army instructor at Osterley between 1915-1917.

    For his services in the First World War he received four medals: British War Medal 1914-1920, Allied Victory Medal 1914 - 1919, 1914 'Mons' Star and the Auxiliary Omnibus Companies' Association medallion.
