Description | Composite sectional scale model of Oxford Circus station showing the interchange following the reconstruction that took place for the building of the Victoria line. Surface level detail depicted on Perspex sheet. Both ticket offices (old and new) are depicted. Post office tunnel labelled alongside ventilation and other pipes. Central, Victoria and Bakerloo tunnels depicted, with open sections giving views of details such as, figures and trains in tunnels along with details of escalators. The trains in model on Victoria platform are silver, in line with Misha Black's design decisions for Victoria Line. |
