Description | Card edition of the pocket London Underground map, issued in a linen and card folder. It shows all the Underground group of lines in the Central London area, as well as the Metropolitan Railway, City and South London Railway and Central London Railway. The Bakerloo name appears in full as Baker Street and Waterloo Railway. Unusually the background is black, with lines is printed in a different colours. Stations are marked with circles and interchanges are marked by white squares. Main line stations are highlighted in white, as well as the Franco British Exhibition at Wood Lane. The name changes of March 1908 are shown The map has a white border and a basic non-standard UndergrounD logo is used in the map title. The front cover has an illustration of two children standing on the platform of a Tube station, with 'London Underground' on the wall behind them. |
